This new discounted loan can be used to fund improvements that will improve the energy efficiency and comfort of your home as well as significantly reducing your energy bills and carbon footprint while protecting our environment.

We have two Green Home Improvement loan rates on offer to our members as follows:

To avail of a Green Home Improvement Loan you must provide evidence that your home improvement includes qualifying works from the list above or you have a BER certificate that shows the works you have undertaken have improved the BER rating of your home.
The above Green Home Improvement Loan rates are discounted compared to our regular Home Improvement Loan rate at 9.9% (10.34% APR) and our Home Renovation Loan rate at 8.2% (8.49% APR).
Energy Upgrade Grants from SEAI
If you improve the energy efficiency of your home you may also be entitled to a grant from the SEAI (Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland). Please note you must have grant approval in place before you start works.
