Blackrock Credit Union is not just about helping members to go green with competitively priced loans for electric/hybrid cars as well as home improvement loans, we’re also trying to reduce our own carbon footprint too! We’re being more green and more conscious and mindful when making decisions regarding our resources. We’ve got rid of the plastic cups in our office and now we are working hard to reduce the number of printed pages we send out to our members especially at AGM time.
We also plan to promote the use of our mobile app to members so they can carry out more transactions online or on their mobile phones and encouraging members to apply for loans online or through our app thus minimising the paper and forms we use in the office.
